Maenam Beach is the westernmost of three touristically developed beaches on the north coast of Samui Island. Its beach of four kilometers is very calm and relatively broad there. It's also the most furnish in coconut trees.

Location of average importance, with its small shops, the market in the morning, and some animation. It is too quiet that it attracts mainly families and couples out for a good, tranquil swim.

Some diving center and other water sports have there their store and the windsurf is rather active there during September to December. The fast boats has destination of the islands of Koh Phangan and Koh Tao leave the pier of Maenam.

On each side of the principal road, there are many stores, but will also find you restaurants and bars there.

The place shelters many hotels, some very luxurious, others more type small bungalows or family, without forgetting some excellent centers of thalassotherapy (Spas).

The majority of the establishments are of a very good quality-price ratio.
All are used a broad variety as kitchen going from the local Thai dish with more refined meals.

Maenam provides a quiet and remarkably tropical feeling. The relaxed style of the area attracts many couples and young people married whose priority is rather calms it.
